SUMMARY:The Collective Shelf Book Club holds their monthly meetings at our shop. This book club is for people in our community to get together & read speculative fiction & relevant nonfiction. The books read in this group are geared towards facilitating conversation around defending democracy & human rights\, protecting those most vulnerable in our community\, and envisioning a future where safety & humanity for all is obtainable.
For July\, the chosen book is "Careless People: A Cautionary Tale of Power\, Greed\, & Lost Idealism" by Sarah Wynn-Williams. If you're interested in joining the Collective Shelf Book Club\, the next meeting is on July 25th at 2:30 pm.
