Fall Yarn Tasting at The Owl

It's time to celebrate fiber, fancy drinks, friends, and Fall!
Join us on Saturday, October 14 while we play with Berroco's Fall 2023 yarn tasting kit and taste cider, beer, cocktails, and other fancy concoctions at one of Milan, Michigan's favorite hang-out joints, The Owl.
Here's what we've got planned:

Social Time from 3-4pm
We encourage you to come early to hang out with old friends and new, play trivia, and maybe win a prize. You can even order off The Owl's happy hour menu (although this part is not included in the cost of the event - this is between you and The Owl).

Main Event: yarn & drinks from 4-6pm
Ryan (owner of The Owl) will walk us through a super creative, delightful harvest time tasting menu while we talk about yarn. Does life get any more fun than this?? We'll even provide additional lighting at every table to make sure you can easily see all the goodies, both fiber and food.

Afterparty at the shop from 6-8pm
We'll meet you back at the shop to continue the fun with some great deals, just for you.

Additional mini-skein to showcase one of our favorite yarns (we're still thinking about which one to bring, stay tuned)
All the drinks and snacks we serve during the Main Event, including Twisted Pretzels by Julie, a true Milan favorite
Custom event stitch marker

Did we mention there's a door prize? One lucky guest will go home with a beautiful set of Lykke knitting needles or crochet hooks. Seriously.

Pro tip: the Spring version of this event sold out quickly, so don't wait long to register.

Cancellation policy
Registration is not refundable, but it is transferable. In other words, if you register but are unable to attend, please do what you can to find someone to take your place. If that doesn't work, we'll make sure you still get your Berroco yarn tasting kit, special mini-skein, and event stitch marker.
