Michigan Aquatic Furbearers 101: Honoring Our Connection to the Environment

Michigan is home to many species of Aquatic furbearers: Beaver, Mink, Muskrat, and Otter. They are among the most enjoyable wild animals to observe, but many people find identifying them to be confusing, especially as they often appear to be swimming blobs of fluff. Join naturalist Elle Bogle and Moon Mama LLC for an exploration of these furry fellows and learn all about their differences, similarities, and the very important roles they play in the ecosystem.
All ages are welcome to this free community educational event. Registration required.
Building and Parking Info: This event will take place at The Old Fire Barn on the second floor. There is a chair lift provided. Please enter the building at the E. Main St. door and head upstairs. You are welcome to park along E. Main St. or at the public parking lot located across the street near the Milan Preschool. Thank you!
