Join us on Thursday, October 15th from 6-8pm during downtown Milan's Practically Magical Girls' Night Out when we'll be hosting two local authors with perfect spooky-season vibes! Ken MacGregor is a mostly dark speculative fiction writer. He describes his writings as "the oddball imaginings of someone who refuses to grow up." His anthology Stitched Lips was a finalist for the Shirley Jackson award. His middle grade novella Devil's Bane won the Reader's Choice award in the Critter's Poll in its category. Jason Garman writes horror, speculative fiction, & supernatural mysteries that blend noir, cosmic horror, and the unexplained. His goal in writing is to tell stories that make readers wonder what's hiding just beneath the surface of reality and to leave people feeling haunted. Garman's books include Reflections in the Dark, Viscera Varnish, and The Day the Sky Died. Pick up your copy of their horror novels to take some spooky vibes home with you!
