Join Milan High School Productions as they perform Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella. Directed by Jason and Becky Berry, the cast will be diving into the 2013 Broadway version of Cinderella, which marries the story you know and love with new and interesting characters who help Ella along the way. In classic fairy tale form, we follow Ella who is kind and caring despite the mistreatment she endures from her stepmother and stepsisters, but she dreams of more. Along the way she crosses paths with Prince Topher, who is trying to find his own way in the world, and Jean-Michel, who seems absolutely aware of his life's purpose. Assisted by the sweet, but nuts, Crazy Marie, and an unexpected ally, Ella is able to not only make her dreams come true, but also a few dreams for the citizens of the kingdom as well. Filled with unforgettable characters, lots of laughs, and a stunning musical score, Cinderella is sure to capture the hearts of audiences both young and old.
Cinderella performances are March 12, 13, and 14 at 7:00PM and Saturday March 14 at 1:00PM. The performances will be held at Milan High School, 100 Big Red Drive, in the Dennis Macomb Performing Arts Center.
