Independent Bookstore Day Author Showcase

We are celebrating Independent Bookstore Day in a big way this year! We are hosting 3 fantastic local authors at our Authors Showcase. V.L. Barycz, J.P. McAndrew, and Kody Webb will be at Adventure Ink from 10am-2pm to meet & greet readers, talk books, and sign copies of their own books.
V.L. Barycz is author of "Promise of Sirens." Barycz whisks together American & European folklore into a gumbo of murder mystery, political drama, and urban fantasy. The book follows Senior Pilgrim Brigitte Laveau Fitzpatrick as she works to solve a magical murder mystery and uncovers a conspiracy that may threaten not just Detroit but the entire world.
J.P. Andrew is a genre-defying storyteller whose debut novel, "Venus in Twilight," has captivated readers with its blend of magical realism, romance, and sharp humor. Set in the heartland of Michigan, the story follows a neurodivergent couple whose lives are upended by their enigmatic neighbors, exploring themes of love, identity, and the subversion of societal norms.
Kody Webb is the self-published author of the "Sellsword Saga" series and "The Journal of a Steadfast Saint" with unilateral deafness. He writes short, character-focused stories such as "The Journal of a Steadfast Saint" and "A Tale of Twenty-One." He is also writing a grand fantasy adventure in the "Sellsword Saga," of which four of five books have been published.
