Pink Shamrocks is excited to host Kelly Bortles, local watercolorist for Meet the Artist.
The event is Sunday, August 23, 2026 from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm.
Kelly will be demonstrating watercoloring and answering questions. Refreshments will be provided. Attendees will receive a free gift! And Kelly's collection will be available for sale.
Kelly's Artist Statement:
Spreading joy and happiness one painting at a time.
Growing up in Saline, Michigan, my art is a celebration of my Midwest roots and the places I’ve lived all over the world.
I'm inspired by nature, love color and the charms of a small town. Each piece is an original design. The cards have hand-painted touches and are signed.
I teach Beginners Only Watercolor, focusing on essential techniques - no rigid rules, no “right” style - just building confidence.
