Milan Mini-Con is a pop-culture celebration for fans of all ages, featuring local artists, unique vendors, gaming events, cosplay, & fun for the whole family. Despite its name, there’s nothing small about this event—it’s packed with energy, creativity, and community spirit. Join us Saturday, July 18th for Milan’s biggest little convention and see how a small town can throw a major celebration of fandom.
Artist Alley will feature craftspeople & local authors hosted by local downtown businesses and in Tolan Square. Spread throughout downtown will also be LARPing demonstrations, the Family-Friendly Cosplay Contest, and more!
Our Event Hall is hosted at The Bridge. The Event Hall will have even more to see & do!
* Game Developer Room - Demo video games from local developers & U of M students and learn about the game development process.
* Milan Community Arcade - Play Super Smash Bros. Melee & Ultimate! We’ll have friendlies set up on two CRT screens all day.
* Sensory Room - Visit our sensory station upstairs to get quiet, calm, and relaxation from all the stimulation of mini-con. We’ll have calming activities like coloring sheets, painting, and more for you to unwind and cool down from the hot weather. Over-stimulated friends - We see you and we want to accommodate you.
* Vendor Hall - Browse our selection of curated vendors offering toys, games, cards, collectibles, plush, curiosities, and much more! Many of our vendors will be offering free trinkets and activities for you to participate in. You won’t want to miss the best part of mini-con! Who knows what you’ll find?
* Kids Dinosaur Dig - Unleash your inner archaeologist & search the dig site for three fossils to take home.
Admission is $10 at the Bridge. You can purchase advance tickets by visiting the Milan Community Arcade before July 11 & receive a free pack of Pokemon cards.
