The Collective Shelf Book Club holds their monthly meetings at our shop. This book club is for people in our community to get together & read speculative fiction & relevant nonfiction. The books read in this group are geared towards facilitating conversation around defending democracy & human rights, protecting those most vulnerable in our community, and envisioning a future where safety & humanity for all is obtainable.
For March, the chosen book is "Starting Somewhere: Community Organizing for Socially Awkward People Who’ve Had Enough" by Roderick Douglass. If you're interested in joining the Collective Shelf Book Club, the next meeting is on March 21st at 11:30 am.
