Wildflower Hike

Join me Ash from Moon Mama and my mentor, local retired biology teacher, the legendary John Farmer, for a hike through DHMP to locate and identify the wildflowers. April Campbell the founder of BIPOC Birders of Michigan will also be joining the hike to help identify the bird population throughout the preserve.

What to expect:
We hope to see Trout lilies, Dutchman Breeches, Spring Beauties, Trillium, just to name a few. Together we will honor our natural world and our connection to it. It is recommended that you dress for the hike as it is Spring in Michigan and it can be wet and muddy. Boots are recommended. Bring water to stay hydrated. All ages are welcome for this free event!
